I’d say batman would definitely win, this version of batman would actually be equal to Spidey, but he would still have a teeny tiny chance of winning the battle.

So spidey and the bat has great potential, they are both super-geniuses, Spidey has significantly higher iq than of batman, but batman is overall better at strategizing to beat his enemies, and he has Lucius to back him up with state of the art equipment. While spidey also possesses a great amount of suits that give him crazy abilities, they would still be no match to the batsuits from Arkham knight.

In terms of combat, we’ve seen a great amount of skill from both parties, however, batman is slightly faster than spider-man, this could simply be a tactic used by rocksteady to make the combat more efficient and “stitched” but it works in way that gives batman the speed of superman in hand to hand combat. He could easily move to the end of the room from one end in a matter of milliseconds while engaged in combat. We’ve seen similar combat flow in the Spiderman games, but Spidey has never been as fast as the bat in this situation. However, if we ask this question in general, Spiderman will be crowned the fastest. Moving on, we also have to check up with the combos and detailed moves that both of these characters use when fighting crooks, bosses and etc. Spiderman’s moves are more flexible than that of batman, similar to how catwoman moves and fights but more agile in a way. He certainly holds back his punches when fighting normal crooks, and even while holding back, he gets them down in a few hits, We can also associate our web shooters and create perfect combos, spidey has sick moves and if he wasn’t holding back, he could definitely kill someone. Batman on the other hand is brutal, he barely holds back and he doesn’t hesitate to break some limbs on his way. But in the end, he does not kill the crooks, he simply breaks their necks in a non-lethal way. The arkham series inspired the combat used in spiderman ps4, and i’d say that spiderman ps4 has a slightly upgraded version of arkham’s combat. But we can pretty much say that arkham knight and spiderman ps4 have equal combat systems ingame. Batman can pull off beatdowns, use his gadgets and can even do insane supernatural supermoves such as the bat-tornado shock thingy (idk what its called) Batman is also trained in multiple melee combat. He even beat lady shiva and deathstroke, two of the best combatants in both DC and Marvel. However, i’d have to give the edge to spiderman since he has his spider sense which could literally sense bullet trajectories, something that the bat could only do through thorough detective mode analysis. You could bring up the fact that Batman defeated catwoman while blinded in the terrible prequel (origins:blackgate), but we have to accept the fact that Spiderman is faster and stronger than the cat. Batman could only evade a few of Batmans moves before getting damaging his armor and possibly getting webbed up.

Its not even a question, Batman is op as hell. He can stand landmines, bullets and knives. His armor is state of the art with multiple heavy duty layers of protection. Spiderman can be taken down by normal crooks pretty easily, even though Spidey can take some bullets, he cannot really stand alot. While Batman can stare down the eyes of a crook who is throwing in like 10 bullets per second. Batman’s armor is too op, spiderman is durable, but not as durable as the dark knight. Im not addressing any other series, im talking about the video games where spiderman is weaker than usual. Sure, Batman was easily defeated by bane in origins, but then, he took him down effortlessly in the other games. And we did have a kingpin vs spidey fight where Spidey didnt win too easy, and its factual that bane is stronger than Fisk.
Gadgets and powers
This round is a tough one, but the victor is Batman. Sure spidey has awesome gadets like the web bomb, but the bats has alot as well. True, most of the bats gadgets would be futile against the spidey-sense, but then again, some wouldnt be. Batman has his batmobile, a freaking tank that has guns and missiles good enough to obliterate literal tanks. Batman also seems to have similar weapons to that of spidey, for example, the cluster freeze grenade to match the web bombs, and his sonic batarangs or normal batarangs to match the concussive blasts. And the freeze proximity mines or explosive gel to match the trip mines. Batman also has the ability disarm most weapons, potentially the spider drone or his web shooters. He also possesses shock gauntlets. At the end of arkham knight it seems that Batman has his hands on fear toxin which could cause people to hallucinate. At the end of arkham knight when batman basically deleted bruce wayne, he became immune to the fear toxin, so it would make sense for him to use the toxin to incapacitate criminals, but since this is more of a theory than a fact, i wouldnt associate it as a direct power of the bat.
conclusion
Batman would put up a great fight, and will win, its more of a 65 percent chance for the bat. Even though it’ll be hard to best spidey in hand to hand combat, he could still plan it out, and he could actually use all 127 martial art techniques he learned before. After all, he is batman. It might be a similar story in the comics since we’ve seen what a rogue batman could do, but i’d say spiderman is still a great superhero and tbh its a match between him and batman in my favorites list (with logan at the top), but the ps4 spiderman wouldnt be able to take down the batman from the arkham series. But since we are still only at his first game and second appearance in a video game, we’ll have to wait it out and ask this question again once the final game is released since we cant really determine the true potential of both of these characters and it would be unfair for the spidey since we only got one direct game for him and we all can agree that spidey can definitely take down the bat we saw in arkham asylum.
